On Being an Orthodontist
I have enjoyed serving as an orthodontist to residents of greater Atlanta and North Georgia for almost 30 years. Watching so many children grow up into self-assured young adults, and seeing so many smiles brighten up the world, has been spectacular.
As an orthodontist, I love to watch everyone grow and change as they move through the orthodontic treatment experience. Seeing individuals transition from feeling self-conscious to being confident around their peers is deeply affecting. I especially appreciate how, with each person I am creating not just a new smile but an outlet where what was hidden can now shine.
Education, Professional Affiliations, and Continuing Education
I obtained my Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. Since completing my orthodontic residency and specialty training, I have been board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.
Throughout my career, I have been a constant participant in study groups, always looking into the newest technological advances. Likewise, by attending meetings, lectures, and seminars, and studying the latest literature, I stay at the leading edge of new developments. I am dedicated to delivering clinical excellence for each patient: constant studying and advanced training enable me to provide the best experience and results.

It is a joy to be part of Family-Braces. We have a very committed group of doctors who operate from a patients-first philosophy. And we have great team members, some who have been part of the practice family for a long time and some just coming onboard. We love working with these amazing people and know our patients will adore them, too.

Beyond the Office
My family and I have resided in Atlanta for more than 25 years. I am devoted to my wife Marlo, who is an amazing woman and incredible mother to our three children: Ryan, Lilya, and Lara. Being surrounded by my family, and including time with my children and supporting their many extracurricular interests, is important to me. I also enjoy outdoor activities, especially running, and love to travel.
